Curriculum Overview

The curriculum at Mannai Narayanasamy College of Nursing is carefully designed in accordance with the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council and affiliated university standards. It aims to provide a balanced integration of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional values required in the healthcare sector.

The program focuses on developing competent nursing professionals capable of delivering quality care in preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative aspects of healthcare. The curriculum is regularly updated to meet the evolving needs of society and advancements in medical science.

Subjects / Areas of Study

The academic program covers a wide range of subjects that build a strong foundation in nursing and allied sciences. Students are trained in core disciplines such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Psychology, Sociology, and Pharmacology.

In addition to these, specialized nursing subjects including Nursing Foundation, Medical & Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Midwifery & Gynecology are taught in a structured manner. The curriculum also includes Nursing Education, Research, and Administration to prepare students for leadership roles in the healthcare field.

Teaching Methodology

Internal Assessment

The institution follows a continuous internal assessment system to evaluate the academic progress of students. Regular tests, assignments, seminars, practical evaluations, and project work are conducted throughout the academic year.
